Do I need a reservation?
Yes. Please call Woof Pack Lodge or email us to inquire about a reservation.
Does Woof Pack Lodge offer tours?
Yes. We encourage all new clients to tour our facility prior to boarding your dog. We prefer you bring your dog with you for a tour, given that they are up to date on vaccinations and currently on flea/parasite preventative at the time of tour.
What time should I arrive to drop off my dog?
Upon reservation, there will be an agreed upon time when we will expect you to drop off your dog. It's always best to drop your dog off in the morning so they will have all day to get comfortable and adjust.
Do you offer doggy day care?
All dogs who stay with us get the benefits of a doggy day care but we are strictly a boarding facility that offers tons of “extras” that is all inclusive of our boarding fee. During the day, dogs will be placed in small groups in one of our activity areas for supervised play time, cuddles, making new friends, water play, or lounging. If your dog isn't interested in hanging out with other dogs, they will get nature walks, plenty of one on one play time and attention.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered in order to stay at Woof Pack Lodge?
Yes
Does my dog need to be fully vaccinated in order to board at Woof Pack Lodge?
Yes. We will only accept dogs who have been vaccinated for rabies, bordetella and DHLPP.
What if my dog needs medication?
We are happy to dispense oral and topical medications and/or supplements for your dog. We require that you provide your medications and/or supplements in their original pill bottle/packaging and we will administer as directed. We do not administer intravenous medications.
Will my dog need to be on a flea/tick/parasite preventative before boarding?
Yes. We take every precaution to maintain a pest-free environment. If your dog has a flea collar, or Seresto collar, we ask that it be removed prior to boarding. If there are any fleas on your dog upon arrival, we'll give them a Capstar and place them in their suite. The cost of one Capstar is $25.00 and this cost will be added to your final invoice. If ticks are found on your dog, we will give them a medicated bath. That cost will be added to your final invoice.
What if my dog becomes ill or needs medical attention during their stay?
In the event your dog requires medical attention, we will make every effort to reach you. We will transport your dog to their veterinarian to ensure continuity of care. However, if they are unavailable for after hour services, we will transport your dog to the closest emergency clinic. Please ask your veterinarian how they handle after hours emergencies.
If I have more than one dog boarding, can they stay together?
If the dogs reside in the same household, yes.
Am I required to bring my dog's food from home?
Yes. An abrupt change in your dog's diet will result in stomach upset, diarrhea and/or vomiting, or an allergic reaction if they are given another food other than what they are used to. This will add unnecessary stress during their stay with us. Please place their dry food in a ziplock or other container and label with amount to be fed and their name. If your dog eats canned food (or a combo of dry + canned), bring enough canned food.
Can I bring my dog's bedding or toys from home?
Yes. If there are items from home that you wish to bring for your dog, we ask that any bedding be washed prior to coming to our facility. There is no guarantee that bedding, toys or any items you bring from home will be in the same shape they were prior to boarding. All of their personal items will remain in their suite at all times. We are not responsible for replacing/repairing any items that were not purchased by Woof Pack Lodge.
Do you offer bathing?
Yes. We recommend a spa bath so when you pick up your dog, they will be fresh and clean. Spa baths are an additional cost. If your dog stays with us 10 or more days, they will receive a complimentary spa bath.
Do dogs ever get hurt while boarding?
Small scratches and nicks are part of normal dog play. Dogs are pack animals and wrestle and play with teeth and paws. Even with supervision, it is possible for more serious injuries to occur. We take precautions when grouping dogs together for play time. We place dogs together according to their energy level, play style, temperament, age and size. Dog play groups are very small, typically 3-5 dogs in one play group.
Does someone stay overnight with the dogs?
No. Our facility is secure and safe and is located in between each of the owner's homes. Our last check is 9:00pm. We ensure they have everything they need for a restful night's sleep. Both owners have access to see the facility anytime from their phones via security cameras.
Are there any dog breeds that you do not accept at Woof Pack Lodge?
We accept all dog breeds. We understand not every dog has the easy temperament for group play with other dogs. If you feel your dog would not do well with other dogs, we will have one-on-one play time and/or a nature walk. They will not be included in play groups.
My dog has shown aggression in the past, can he/she still board at Woof Pack Lodge?
If your dog has shown aggression towards humans, the answer is no. If your dog has shown mild aggression towards other dogs, then this is something we may be able to work with. We are happy to discuss what options we have with your dog. They will not participate in group play or be in contact with other dogs but there is plenty we can do one on one with him/her.
