Policies and Procedures

All dogs must be on a flea preventative. If fleas or ticks are found on your dog, we will treat at dog owner's expense. Capstar for fleas and for ticks, physical removal and a medicated bath.

Dogs must be spayed or neutered if 8 months or older.

We ask that clients bring the food that your dog is accustomed to. Dogs can get stomach upset, vomiting and/or diarrhea if there is a change in their normal food. It's always a good idea to pack a little extra food in the event your travel plans get extended/delayed.

All guests must be current on rabies, DHLPP and Bordatella vaccines. Bordatella (kennel cough) is a common upper respiratory condition similar to human flu or cold. The vaccine is not 100% effective, so kennel cough is always a risk associated with boarding, day care, grooming, visits to dog parks or interaction with other dogs. Bordatella at least 2 weeks prior to boarding is required.

If your dog is not on a worm preventative, a negative fecal test is required before boarding.

All dogs must be in good health and must not have been exposed to any contagious illnesses within a 14-day period prior to check-in. We are not equipped to allow admission of any dogs who are in the late stages of a terminal illness. However, if your dog happens to be in the beginning or middle stage of a terminal illness and your vet feels it's safe for him/her to stay with us, we are happy to discuss with you.

Dogs showing signs of illness, such as vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, etc, will not be admitted for the safety of our other guests and our own dogs.

Should we notice that your dog is experiencing a sudden negative change in health or behavior or any symptoms of illness, we will contact you immediately via text message and/or phone call. If we feel medical attention is necessary, we will take steps to get medical attention as soon as possible if we are unable to reach you. If we see that a condition is minor (allergies, scratches, etc) we will notify you upon pick-up.

Should you need to cancel your dog's stay, please let us know as far in advance as possible. Please refer to our cancellation policy.

Check-in and pick-up times will be scheduled individually with each client.

We require a $200 deposit on all boarding reservations for all dogs staying with us 5 days or longer.
